During our stay in Chania Town, we dined at Lithos Restaurant Cafe located at 7-9 Akti Koudourioti, right by the Old Harbour. This restaurant quickly became a highlight of our trip, thanks to its charming ambiance, attentive staff, and delectable dishes.
We were seated by the water, enjoying a picturesque view of the harbor and the iconic lighthouse. The setting was perfect for people-watching and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Chania. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Our meal began with the Cretan salad, which was bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. For the main course, we indulged in the fresh sea bass and fresh tuna. The sea bass was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and tender, flavorful flesh, while the tuna melted in our mouths. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and the quality of the ingredients.
We couldn’t resist trying the desserts, so we shared a baklava and a pancake. Both were divine, but the pancake stood out as a surprising winner. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a bottle of local white wine, which paired wonderfully with the seafood.
One of the highlights of our experience was the warm and personable service provided by our server, Vladimir. He was attentive, kind, and made excellent recommendations throughout our meal.
Overall, Lithos Restaurant Cafe offered us an unforgettable dining experience with its combination of delicious food, beautiful setting, and outstanding service. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Chania Town.
