Notio Archipelagos

During our stay in Heraklion, Crete, we had the pleasure of dining at Notio Archipelagos, a delightful seafood restaurant located at Leoforos Sofokli Venizelou 11. Known for its Mediterranean and Greek cuisine, this establishment offers a memorable dining experience with its fresh, delicious seafood and warm hospitality.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff who made us feel instantly welcome. The restaurant’s location right by the sea provided stunning views that enhanced our dining experience. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends.

We started our meal with a selection of appetizers, including grilled zucchini chips, sea bass ceviche, and the “To Voskou” salad. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with fresh flavors. The grilled zucchini chips were crispy and perfectly seasoned, while the sea bass ceviche offered a refreshing and tangy start to our meal.

For the main course, we chose a variety of seafood dishes, including the Archipelagos squid and octopus souvlaki. The squid was tender and flavorful, and the octopus was grilled to perfection, served with a side of orzo that complemented the seafood beautifully. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left feeling satisfied.

One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Konstantinos and his team. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests were evident throughout the evening. Konstantinos even treated us to a complimentary dessert and homemade Raki, a traditional Cretan spirit, which added a personal touch to our dining experience.
